After Blight

Eldspire calendars are separated into Before Blight and After Blight. The Blight was a powerful, magical curse unleashed near the end of the War of the Six by powerful entities known as The Desolate.

Seeing that defeat by the hands of The Sentinels (The Six) and The Progenitor Gods was inevitable, The Desolate unleashed The Blight, a roiling, black mist that embroiled the lands, destroying crops, cities, and people alike. This launched Eldspire into an era known as the Umbral Age (Umbral Epoch, Umbral Era, Umbra).
