Outlands

The Outlands are the colloquial name for the rural lands that exist outside of Gadronan cities such as Kalantha.

Outlands settlements primarily exist to provide resources for Gadronan cities. They are very dangerous, often left to fend for themselves against supernatural incursions that occur nightly, or the against the harsh realities of existence at the fringes of society. Outland settlements often don’t have the level of technological advancement or quality of life that is found in the cities.
