Relic Race

Relic Races are twice-yearly spectacles during which adventuring parties and Skyship crews compete in a continent-wide treasure hunt. Racing teams are given clues that take them to all corners and depths of Gadrona, diving into ancient ruins in order to find the Relic and bring it back to Kalantha.

Anybody may enter a Relic Race, and often famous adventuring parties or Skyship racers participate, seeking fame, glory, and monetary prizes. The Relic Races are massively popular in Kalantha, with cultural zeitgeist revolving around the events as they occur.
